Implementing OSCQR Workshop

Implementing OSCQR Workshop In-Person

Join your colleagues at the 'Implementing OSCQR Workshop' in the new TLC Conference Room (iL135E) for a practical, interactive session dedicated to enhancing online teaching at LCCC. This workshop is designed to provide hands-on experience with your Action Plan from the OSCQR rubric, allowing you to apply new skills directly to your courses.

Goals of this workshop are:

  • Review your OSCQR rubric and action plan
  • Design quality orientation materials
  • Scaffold technical skills required for course participation
  • Create assignments using Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) principles
  • Utilize Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to design equitable course materials
  • Infuse regular and substantive interaction guidelines throughout your course
  • Develop formative assessments for students to check their understanding

Important: To fully participate and get the most out of this workshop, please bring your laptop. This will enable you to work on your courses in real-time, implementing the OSCQR principles under guided assistance.

As a bonus, we will provide sandwiches for lunch, offering a great opportunity to network with peers.
